Gloucester Courthouse, Windsor, Langley AFB, Queens Lake, Downtown
Portsmouth, Churchland, Norfolk State University, Virginia
Institute For Marine Sciences, Hampton University, College Of
William And Mary, Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport
University, Downtown Norfolk, Patrick Henry Field and Holland.

Rainfall of one to two inches with locally higher amounts up to
three inches are possible over the area. This additional rain
may result in minor flooding.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
