Description: At 500 AM EDT, water levels along portions of the Mattaponi River
were slowly falling. The river level at the gauge near Beulahville
is reading just below 15.4 feet as of 445 am EDT Thursday. Flooding
begins at 14.0 feet. Expect flooding to continue through today.
However, river levels should fall below flood stage tonight or
friday morning.

Beulahville.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
