Description: * AREAS AFFECTED: Areas adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay from
Hampton Roads northward to the lower Maryland Eastern Shore, and
Currituck county NC.

* HAZARDS: Strong wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

* WINDS: Northeast to north wind of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to
50 mph until midnight.

* TIMING: Until midnight.

* IMPACTS: As a result of today’s rainfall, strong wind gusts may
down trees and power lines in a few areas.

Instruction: A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 35 mph, along with
stronger gusts, are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult…especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
