Description: FOG HAS DEVELOPED OVER MAINLY INTERIOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
VIRGINIA TO NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA. VISIBILITIES ARE HIGHLY
VARIABLE DUE TO THE PATCHY NATURE OF THE FOG…BUT OVERALL RANGE
FROM ONE HALF MILE TO 2 MILES. SOME LOW LYING RURAL AREAS WILL
HAVE VISIBILITIES DOWN TO ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES. THESE CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF
FRIDAY…WITH THE FOG POSSIBLY BECOMING MORE DENSE AND WIDESPREAD.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY DUE TO
PATCHES OF DENSE FOG. DRIVE AT REDUCED SPEEDS AND USE LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS ONLY.
