* Until 230 AM EDT.
* At 1131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Kilmarnock, Urbanna, Fair Port, Lancaster, White Stone, Wicomico
Church, Brook Vale, Rehoboth Church, Regina, Christ Church,
Byrdton, Browns Store, Beanes Corner, Weems, Millenbeck, Slabtown,
Fleeton, Howland, Foxwells and Senora.
Additional rainfall of 1.5 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Instruction: A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
