Description: The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 9 PM
EDT this evening.

* LOCATIONS…Shoreline in Charles County and King George County.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE…One and a half to two feet above normal.

* TIMING…Around the time of high tide. High tide at Dahlgren is
at 6:29 PM. High tide at Goose Bay is at 7:19 PM.

* IMPACTS…Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
is possible. At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Island
and docks near Dahlgren.
Instruction: A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
