* Until 715 PM EST Thursday.

* At 1002 AM EST, the river gauge along the Mattaponi River near
Beulahville reported a stage of 14.5 feet and been slowly rising
again as the crest that has been moving down the river from
Bowling Green is beginning to arrive. Expect the river to rise
back to between 14.5 – 15 FT by Thursday night, before beginning
to fall on Friday. Flood Stage is 14.0 FT.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
