* Until 745 PM EST.

* At 412 PM EST, the river gauge along the Mattaponi River near
Beulahville reported a stage of 14.4 feet and has been nearly
steady at that level during the day on Wednesday. Flooding begins
at 14.0 feet. The water level is beginning to rise again as the
crest that has been moving down the river from Bowling Green is
beginning to arrive. Expect the river to rise back to near 15 FT
by Thursday night.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
