* Until 100 PM EDT

* At 957 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in
minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain
have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Mathews, Gloucester Courthouse, Deltaville, Gloucester Point, White
Stone, Hayes, Saluda, Gwynn, Wicomico, Achilles, Bavon, Hartfield,
Glenns, Blakes, Shacklefords, Mobjack, Beulah, Moon, Laban and
Naxera.

Additional rainfall amounts on the order of one to two inches are
expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
